January is one of the quietest months at PortAventura Park. This translates into shorter waits and a more peaceful all-round experience as the park winds down to its month-long February closure. From March onwards, the visitor influx ticks upward as the weather starts to improve.

April-June: is spring the best time to visit the park?

As we’ve already mentioned, spring is a fantastic time to visit PortAventura World. This is particularly true for May and June when the park really comes into its own. Spring is characterised by average visitor influx levels and a pleasant climate, meaning you can ride your favourite attractions multiple times over without having to deal with extreme temperatures or excessive waiting times!

July-August: top tips for visiting the park during high season

When the mercury soars, tourists from all around flock to our park.  Despite this, PortAventura World is still a fantastic place to visit during the summer months. Just make sure you arrive early to make the most of the early hours, as this is when the park is least crowded and the waiting times are more appealing.

September-October: the perfect balance between good weather and shorter waits

Late summer and early autumn are some of the best times of year to visit PortAventura World. While the influx of visitors is neither high nor low, the weather is perfect for enjoying our range of incredible rides without the summer crowds.
