From the tracks of Dragon Khan to your pocket: an exclusive limited-edition gift

To commemorate three decades of thrills and unforgettable experiences, we wanted to create something truly special. As a token of gratitude to all those who have been part of our story, we have transformed a fragment of Dragon Khan into a unique gift: an exclusive keyring made from original brake pads used on our flagship attraction.

 

The origin: a fragment of Dragon Khan

Dragon Khan is one of the world’s most iconic roller coasters, famous for its 8 spectacular inversions, its unmistakable roar, and for being the most emblematic attraction of PortAventura World.

Over time, some of its parts have been replaced during maintenance work and, thanks to a special initiative, we have given a second life to its worn bronze brake pads, transforming them into an unrepeatable object that symbolizes three decades of shared emotions and adrenaline.

 

The creation process

Each keyring has been crafted through a meticulous process that guarantees authenticity and exclusivity:

  1. Bronze melting: the original used brake pads are melted to obtain the base material with which the keyrings are manufactured. This process allows the metal to be worked and shaped without losing its essence.
  2. Moulding and cutting: once melted, the bronze is poured into moulds specifically designed for this limited edition. Afterwards, each piece is cut and polished to ensure a flawless finish.
  3. Laser engraving: each keyring is individually laser-engraved, making every piece unmistakable.
  4. Finishing: a final layer is added to one side, which not only enhances its aesthetics with a direct reference to Dragon Khan’s iconic colour, but also protects it to ensure durability over time.
