At PortAventura World we’re always on the lookout for the latest advances in modern technology so that we can continue to surprise you with new adventures. Are you ready to dive into this VR experience? We promise that you’ll be totally awestruck.

So, what is it exactly?

Imagine a 200 m² battlefield. You and your companions put on the VR glasses with headset, choose an adventure and… BOOM! Suddenly, you find yourself immersed in a fascinating world, unlike anywhere you’ve ever been before.

You can move freely and safely around the entire space, without ropes or harnesses to hold you back. But be aware that you’ll need eyes everywhere, to spot the many dangers that lurk in the shadows.

But, don’t worry! As well as the VR glasses with headset to see everything that happens, you’ll be armed with a controller so that you can move around and interact with your surroundings! You’ll be able to experience what it feels like to shoot a weapon or pick up unimaginable objects, and come into direct contact with the characters.

What experiences can you expect?

In this new adventure you can immerse yourself in unworldly universes like Sol Raiders, an intergalactic mission where it’s your job to take back control of the Sun, our galaxy’s greatest energy source.

In Outbreak Origins, on the other hand, you will face an epidemic of hyper-realistic zombies and attempt to successfully complete your mission to find the cure for a deadly virus. Run, aim and shoot so they don’t catch you.

Or if the Caribbean is more to your liking, then Far Cry is the world for you. Although it won’t exactly be the quiet holiday you might have imagined, since you’ll have to do whatever is necessary to disappear and avoid being caught.

If you’re looking to enter a fantasy world, with aliens, flying whales, and colourful characters, we invite you to defy gravity with Engineerium. You will put your skills to the test as you work to coordinate your mind and body by connecting platforms. We advise you to choose your companions wisely as the key to this game is teamwork 😉.

Useful information before you play

Players must be at least 13 years old and arrive 30 minutes before the start of the game to receive safety instructions and an introduction to the game.

There may be up to 8 players in a group, provided that none of them suffer from epilepsy, are hearing impaired, or use a wheelchair. Our VR Experiences are also not recommended for people with heart conditions or for women in advanced stages of pregnancy.
