Take a look at these authentic Made To Scream costumes!

The most authentic Made To Scream Halloween has already crept up on PortAventura World! And to make sure everyone knows exactly what time of year it is, the streets are filled with pumpkins, our new shows, and the most terrorific characters.

Just some of the characters you’ll meet are the little girl from the Exorcist, The Madman, the corpse bride, and the executioner. So we want to share with you some frightfully fun costume ideas so that you can look just like them.

The first one is a classic…

 

Zombie!

Dressing up as a zombie has always been a Halloween classic, but in recent years it has become more fashionable than ever. It’s also very simple to create.

Just hunt through your wardrobe for an old t-shirt and trousers, tear them, make holes in them, paint them with a lot of red ink to look like blood… and hey presto! All done!

For a more realistic touch, use makeup that matches the outfit. In this case, you could use white face paint, some jagged fake teeth and, most importantly, don’t forget to smear “blood” all over your face and exposed body parts. Some spooky contact lenses that give an underworld look to your eyes will add the finishing touch to your perfect look.

The only bad thing about this costume is that, if you want to become the real walking dead, you’re going to have to walk veeeerrrry slowly.

Next up on the Made To Scream costume list is… Clown!

What would a horror passage be without diabolical clowns? And ours are no exception. The kind that make you quake with both laughter and fear! If you manage to blend in with them, you can scare them back. 😉

Without a doubt, the first thing you need to put together a good clown costume is a wig, preferably red. Although you can always be original! You will also need a brightly coloured nose, as well as shoes four or five times larger than your usual size.

But if you want to stand out, there’s nothing better than trying a good laugh, the kind that gives you goosebumps. Anyone who crosses your path or hears you will not hesitate for a second to run away!

The witch

Another costume that never fails is a witch. To turn yourself into one, you could wear a black dress, or a skirt and a dark-coloured blouse. You can also add a cape to your outfit to give it a spookier touch!

While you’re at it, pick out a black hat that fits you well and has a fun, gloomy feel to it. And for a more realistic finish, add a fake wart on the nose and get creative with the makeup.

Finally, when you visit PortAventura World make sure you remember your broom! A witch is nothing without that. 😉

These are just a few ideas, but there are many more possibilities. For example, you could become a walking skeleton for the day. Or, if you prefer, the most rebellious outlaw from another world. Maybe you can take inspiration from characters in scary movies. The only limit is your imagination!
