SésamoAventura: The last great summer adventure!

These last few months have been punctuated with one unforgettable experience after another. As this time of year draws to a close, we would like to thank you for visiting us during one of the most incredible seasons at PortAventura World: summer!

The new school year is just around the corner, and as a gesture of our gratitude, we would like to help you give your little ones one last big surprise before they go back to school. And why wouldn’t you want to squeeze every last drop out of summer?

PortAventura World has a place where your kids can embark on an amazing journey that is sure to set the adrenaline flowing and have them grinning from ear to ear: SésamoAventura! They’ll be the most popular kids in class when they tell their classmates about their Sesame Street® experience.

Pay attention to this post and keep reading until the end, because we have something special for visiting grown-ups too!

SésamoAventura is a place designed with your little ones in mind. In this world, where everything they imagine is possible, your children will experience adventures alongside their favourite characters such as Bert, Ernie and Elmo. They will also have the opportunity to enjoy family-friendly attractions that will help them grow. Here’s a brief summary of all the adventures that await them in SésamoAventura:

Street Mission

This is one of PortAventura World’s two dark rides. On Street Mission, your little ones will be tasked with helping Detective Grover solve a secret mission that is dangerous and exciting in equal measure.

In order to help him, the whole family will have to overcome a wide array of different challenges. Only two things are needed to successfully complete the mission: bucketloads of bravery and enthusiasm!

Tami Tami

If your children take after you and are starting to show an uncontrollable passion for speed and adrenaline, Tami Tami is sure to be their favourite ride.

One of the most iconic rides in the history of PortAventura Park, Tami Tami is an incredibly fun children’s roller coaster punctuated with many ups and downs. However, please note that you must be 1.30 m or taller to ride it.

So, hold on tight and feel the thrill that is guaranteed by Tami Tami!

El Salto de Blas

Fun comes in many different shapes and sizes at PortAventura World, and the children’s free-fall ride El Salto de Blas is further proof of this.

Encourage your little ones to pull themselves to the top of one of Bert’s yellow towers by tugging on a rope. Then, once they’ve reached their desired height, it’s time for them to let go! They can rise and fall as many times as they like while the attraction keeps turning, so get ready to drop into a world of fun!

Grown-ups should note that 2023 will mark the opening of one of the biggest and most frenetic dark rides in Europe. In fact, it’s the only roller coaster with a lateral drop!

Just in case you aren’t aware, we are referring to Uncharted: The Enigma of Penitence. If you haven’t already done so, we encourage you to come and experience it before you return to the office.
