At PortAventura World, we want every second you spend in our resort to be unforgettable. For this reason, we offer you the opportunity to enjoy the best rides, restaurants where you can indulge in the cuisines of the most remote places in the world, luxurious and comfortable hotels where adventure does not rest, shows full of action, fire and adrenaline, and much more.

And for you to enjoy all of this, we want to share with you a series of tips so that the days you spend here go smoothly and you can remember them for the rest of your life.

Grab a pen and paper because… here we go!

Be informed before you actually arrive

Having all the information you need before you visit is crucial to making the most of your experience in the park. In this blog post and on our website you will find all the information you need to find out exactly what you can expect to find in our six great theme areas: Polynesia, México, SésamoAventura, Mediterrània, China, and Far West; as well as our different parks and all their attractions.

If you’re only here for a few days, carefully choose the rides and shows that you want to enjoy so that you can experience exactly what you want to experience.

Guided visits

Another way to get the most out of the park, and one that not everybody knows about, are our guided visits. Like those you’ll find at any monument or tourist attraction, but full of fun!

A PortAventura Park guide will explain everything that has made our resort one of the best in Europe: from its very beginnings up to the latest developments in the park such as Uncharted: The Enigma of Penitence. This way you will discover secrets that only true fans know.

Choose the day of your visit well and check out our promotions

The average price of our tickets for PortAventura Park is around €50, but if you buy them in advance and regularly check our website, you’ll be able to find unique discounts and promotions for an adventure that is precious but costs very little.

It’s also important that you decide when you are going to come. If you’re on holiday and it’s possible to do so, we recommend that you come during the week, preferably Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday. On these days there are fewer people, so you can enjoy everything that the resort has to offer at a more relaxed pace. Another handy hint is to take the opportunity to visit the most popular attractions at lunchtime. While other visitors are in restaurants or taking a break, you can enjoy Furius Baco, Shambhala, and Dragon Khan practically all by yourself.

Come prepared

Finally, when you do visit us, come dressed in comfortable clothing and footwear. In summer, you are advised to wear a cap, hat, or other similar accessory to protect yourself from the sun. Keep hydrated. Inside the park, there are many outlets where you can enjoy an ice cream or have some water or a soft drink. Take advantage of them and squeeze every last drop out of your experience!
