How many days will I need?

You already know that PortAventura World has three different parks and you can enjoy them during the same stay if you wish.

Bear in mind that depending on the season you visit, Caribe Aquatic Park may be open (and you can add it to your plan) or it may be closed. In addition, you can make plans to spend a day in PortAventura with children.

This planning may not suit your style if you are someone who prefers to go at a slower pace or you love to get back on the same ride but it can serve as a guide. You can also use our planner if you need more help organising your family trip to PortAventura World.

Top Tip – If you’re staying at one of the PortAventura Hotels, entry to PortAventura Park (and possibly the other parks depending on your booking) is included.

There’s no shortage of restaurants or different types of cuisine. You could take a gastronomic voyage all around the world! We have Mexican, Chinese, Mediterranean, American, and Italian food.

Top Tip – If anyone in your family is vegetarian or celiac, some of our restaurants offer menus and dishes suitable for these diets.

These restaurants offer a children’s menu:

  • The Iron Horse
  • The Old Steak House
  • Jeremias’ Food

I’m spending more than one day in PortAventura World. Where can I stay?

If you’ve already decided that your family adventure in PortAventura will last more than one day, first of all: Congratulations! You’ve made an excellent choice. But you will also have a whole new set of questions: Where will I spend the night? Which hotel is best for me? What if I’m travelling with children?

PortAventura Park and Caribe Aquatic Park offer different options to spend the night with us. You’ll be spoilt for choice. In addition, we also have rooms specially designed for children and families. We may have had a little help from our SésamoAventura friends…

Our hotels are set in four exciting worlds:

  • Far West
  • Mediterrània
  • Caribe
  • México

Top Tip – Even if you arrive at the hotel before check-in time, we will give you access to the parks so you can start enjoying your experience from the very first minute.

I’m travelling with young children. Are there any suitable attractions for them?

PortAventura World is the ideal place for little ones and in this blog there are plenty of ideas for things to do with children. There are areas designed exclusively for them and children’s attractions in the three parks. So, if there are both small and big children in your family, here EVERYONE will find fun to suit their tastes.

guía atracción The height restrictions of our attractions are categorised as:

  • Toddlers (normally under 1 metre).
  • From 1 m
  • From 1.10 m
  • From 1.20 m
  • From 1.30 m
  • Over 1.40 m

If they are tall enough, they can ride alone, otherwise they will be required to board accompanied by an adult. So, whatever the case, there will always be attractions for them to enjoy.
