After summer comes autumn, and PortAventura World gets ready to become the setting for the most thrilling and fun-filled season of the year. From 19 September to 15 November, the resort transforms to offer scares and laughs around every corner.
If you thought Halloween at PortAventura World was only for the bravest, we have some great news: this year comes packed with new features for everyone. A whole host of entertainment options awaits, from the little ones to the most daring visitors.
Head to the Far West to experience a new horror story arriving this season with El Carnicero de Penitence: Haunted House.
Set in the 19th century, the town Sheriff needs your help to investigate the strange disappearances surrounding the local butcher. The immersive journey takes you through different spaces inspired by a slaughterhouse and butcher’s shop of the era, with the suspense building until you uncover the secret the butcher has been hiding for years.
With a distinctly gore-inspired tone, this new experience introduces a different type of horror to the existing offering and expands the Halloween experience at PortAventura World. Dare you ask for a turn at the Penitence Butcher’s Shop?
Alongside El Carnicero de Penitence, four other haunted houses await true adrenaline and intense-experience lovers: La Isla Maldita, La Muerte Viva, REC® Experience and Angkor: La leyenda del Rey Caníbal.
So, if you’re the kind of person who enjoys putting your courage to the test, you’ll have more than one opportunity to do so during your visit.
Who said Halloween is only for the bravest? At PortAventura World, little ones also have their own way of experiencing the season.
This year, favourites such as Truco o Trato, Día de los Muertos and the Halloween Parade return, together with different entertainment activities and street characters that will fill the park with fun.
And for those who want to add a little more excitement to their visit, as night falls, the Scare Zone “La Maldición del Emperador” will give you goosebumps in the best possible way.
Because there are plans for everyone at Halloween: from enjoying the decorations and characters with the family to daring to experience the most terrifying attractions.
The horror doesn’t stop at the haunted houses. This season, Halloween also refreshes part of its entertainment programme with a new mystery and dance show at the Saloon, Resurrection, as well as new street characters roaming PortAventura Park.
In addition, all areas of the park will once again be filled with activities and entertainment, ensuring that the Halloween atmosphere accompanies you throughout your visit.
For almost 60 days, the park will be completely transformed with special decorations, seasonal shows, new characters, themed food options and exclusive Halloween products.
This season is designed to let you enjoy and experience the park in a completely new way, with tailor-made plans for both thrill-seekers and families looking to collect unforgettable memories.
