Access PortAventura World from the A-7. Enter your starting point here and follow the directions to arrive at the resort in the easiest possible way.

If you are hiring a car, we advise that you manage the booking arrangements before your arrival for the best service and guaranteed availability.  There are a number of local companies to choose from, and PortAventura’s official car hire partner GoldCar operates from offices within the area. Benefit from a special 20% discount on your car rental!

 

An alternative and convenient form of transport for getting to PortAventura is by train. The resort has its own stop on the R-16 line run by the company Renfe.

For only €45 purchase your train ticket to travel with Renfe and admission to PortAventura is included. The package is available to purchase at this very special price from the train station ticket offices and the automatic ticketing machines that you will find in every station.

The company Renfe also operates a high-speed train (AVE). From Camp de Tarragona station you can get to the resort by:

  • Bus: the company Plana operates the L4 service that will take you all the way to the resort. See here for information on this service.
  • Taxi: available at the official taxi ranks that you will find upon exiting the station.
  • Transfer: PortAventura offers an additional transfer service to facilitate your arrival. Book it here by entering the information required to manage your booking.
  • Car hire: With GoldCar, the official PortAventura car hire partner, benefit from a special 20% discount on your car rental! We advise you to confirm your booking in advance. Here you can consult the best route to arrive at the resort.

 

It will take just over an hour to get to the park from any airport terminal of El Prat de Llobregat Airport (Barcelona); or only 15 minutes if you are coming from Reus Airport.

From both airports, you can get to the resort by:

  • Bus: the company Plana operates a regular service from both airports. Check here for details of this service.
  • Taxi: available at the official taxi ranks that you will find upon exiting the airport.
  • Transfer: PortAventura offers an additional transfer service to facilitate your arrival. Book it here by entering the information required to manage your booking.
  • Car hire: Avis, GoldCar and Hertz all have offices in both airports where you will be able to manage your booking.  We advise you to contact your chosen company before arrival in order to manage your booking in advance. Here you can consult the best route to arrive at the resort.

PortAventura also makes it so easy to travel by bus! Wherever you may be, you can find a bus service that will take you to the resort. We offer a number of options so that you can choose the route that best suits your needs.

BY CAR:

(Central Spain): 

  • Take the A-2, direction Zaragoza, and join the AP-2.
  • Take exit 9, direction Tarragona.
  • Take the C-14, direction Reus, and follow the A-7 until exit 1152 direction Salou.

PortAventura World can also be directly accessed from the AP-7, a motorway that connects with several national roads.

BY TRAIN:

High-speed trains MADRID - Camp de Tarragona

RENFE offers travellers high-speed and AVE trains with departures from Atocha station arriving directly at Camp de Tarragona station.

Upon arrival at the train station, the following services are available for transfers to PortAventura Resort:

  • Bus: From the Camp de Tarragona AVE station, the transport company Plana runs buses on line L4, which stop at the resort. See here for information on this service.
  • Taxi: In all train stations taxis are available to take you to the resort. (telephone Salou Taxis: 977 38 50 50).
  • Car: Major car rental companies have offices at the Camp de Tarragona AVE station, where you can hire a vehicle. BY PLANE:

Madrid (Madrid - Barajas Airport) - Barcelona (El Prat Airport):

There are direct connections between Madrid and El Prat Airport in Barcelona via regular and shuttle flights.

If you decide to travel by air, El Prat Airport is just one hour from PortAventura Resort.  Upon arrival the following services are available:

  • Bus: A few metres from the main exit of Terminal 1, the transport company Plana runs direct buses to Port Aventura. Check times here.
  • Taxi: At the exit of Terminal 1 taxis are available to take you to the resort.
  • Car: Major car rental companies have offices at the airport, where you can hire a vehicle.   • From Barcelona Airport Terminal 2 there is a free shuttle bus service to take you to the train station. From the station: Take line R2-Nord direction Maçanet-Massanes and change at Estació de Sants (Barcelona city) to take line R-16 (direction Tortosa/Ulldecona). This service stops at the resort. BY BUS:

Buses depart from the Interchange on Avenida de América. 
Several bus companies operate on routes towards Salou, such as Alsa (with a journey time of approximately 7 hours) and PortAventura, all departing from the Interchange on Puerta América in Madrid.
